The Junior Economic Club of Nashville was founded in 2020, while our community was affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic. Nina Ralsky, who moved to Nashville from Chicago 6 years prior and is passionate about Nashville’s developing economy, saw the city as a strong candidate and with a genuine need for The Junior Economic Club. With one of the fastest-growing populations in the country, the local and regional economy is diversifying beyond music, healthcare, and the automotive industry at a similar rate of speed. Not to mention, the effects of the pandemic that have yet to be understood, made the opportunity to start developing future leaders more urgent. Perhaps more than ever, Nashville -- and the world -- needs equipped, adaptable, and resilient leaders. Convening, educating, and motivating the next generation of business leaders, the Junior Economic Club of Nashville will make an investment in the city’s future. Members, mentors, and sponsors will cultivate a generation of effective business leaders through economic and financial literacy.
