Srikar Kusumanchi

Meet our President, Srikar Kusumanchi. Srikar is a junior at Ravenwood High School. He has a deep interest in connecting finance with technology. He is a self-taught programmer with knowledge in many languages/frameworks such as Python, React Native, and JavaScript. He is also an entrepreneur who has created applications that solve real-world problems in this era of digital transformation such as a wildfire awareness app and a homework helper app. Last year, Srikar served on the JEC Board of Directors as the Williamson County Representative. He is excited to serve as our President for the 2023-2024 term.

Annie Cox

Meet our Vice President, Annie Cox. Annie is a senior at University School of Nashville. Annie has researched economics for the past three years at Vanderbilt University. She has started an outdoor education program, GO Girls Nashville, focused on introducing more girls to the outdoors. She is involved in her school’s student council and is Editor and Chief of her school’s paper. Last year, Annie was a member of the JEC and is looking forward to serving as Vice President for the 2023-2024 term.

Ava DuPriest

Meet our Chief Marketing Officer, Ava DuPriest. Ava is a senior at St. Cecilia Academy. Since 2021, she has been a member of the St. Cecilia Academy Ambassador Board, which assists the Admissions Office with recruiting and represents SCA at a variety of school and community events. Ava is passionate about community service and is active with Mary’s Meals, which is dedicated to helping the world’s most impoverished children receive a daily meal when they attend school. She also partners with Nashville Rescue Mission in H2O (Hope to Others) Fundraisers to provide much-needed bottled water to the homeless community during the hot summer months. Last year, Ava served on the JEC Board of Directors as the Davidson County Representative. She is excited to serve as our Chief Marketing Officer for the 2023-2024 term.

Grace Chen

Meet our Director of Strategic Initiatives, Grace Chen. Grace is a senior at James Lawson High School. She serves as an ambassador and student board representative on the Metro Nashville Public Schools Director's Student-Leaders Cabinet. Grace is passionate about the betterment of communities around Nashville and works with the Tennessee Justice Center to advocate for equitable healthcare by writing various publications such as op-eds, articles, and media content about the importance of healthcare and the need for healthcare to be accessible by all. Last year, Grace was a member of the JEC and looks forward to serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the 2023-2024 term.

Yen Ly

Meet our Community Outreach Chair, Yen Ly. Yen is a senior at Glencliff High School, where she is the captain of the golf and tennis teams. For the past three years, she has served as an Academies of Nashville Ambassador, which creates network opportunities between worldwide educators and her school community during study visits. Yen is passionate about public health service and has worked with the Health Occupations Students of America and the Blood Drive Committee to provide professional care and educate volunteers about the importance of blood donation. Last year, Yen served on the JEC Board of Directors as the Community Outreach Chair and is excited to continue serving in this capacity for the 2023-2024 term. 

Oliver Miller

Meet our Williamson County Representative, Oliver Miller. Oliver is a junior at Page High School and plays on both the varsity basketball and golf teams. Committed to community service, Oliver volunteers with Young Men's Service League (YMSL), supporting organizations such as Special Olympics, One Generation Away, and Shower Up. Within YMSL, Oliver has held various leadership roles, including his current role on the Communications Committee. In addition to being a sports enthusiast, Oliver has an avid interest in business, economics, and entrepreneurship. In his free time, Oliver enjoys spending time with family and traveling. Oliver looks forward to making an impact on the JEC as our Williamson County Representative for the 2023-2024 term.
